Description : Understanding pawn structures is a key element of positional chess. Former World Chess Champion GM Kramnik and World Cup Champion GM Boris Gelfand will work with 12 ambitious students for a total of 18 hours of online group lessons, learn how to form a favorable pawn structure and to use it in their favor as well as how to transform pawn structures in the best possible way. The games of highest level will be discussed and analyzed. Lessons will be conducted through ZOOM meetings. Coach will assign homework. 12 Seats for Peak USCF 2400+ or IM+ players. Homework and video recording will be provided if available. A 7-round 5+3 blitz will be arranged that both coaches will play. For the first time, we offer spectator options for U2400 players. Spectators will attend the class and receive homework and video recording if available. Spectators will not participate class discussion and the blitz tournament with the coaches.
