Event Description
  1. A 4-round, G/75+5 tournament on chess.com for two separate groups of USCF Expert and USCF Masters
  2. Event is both chess.com and USCF online rated.
    • Expert Group - USCF 2000-2199 (limited play-up for USCF 1900+)
    • Master Group - USCF 2200+ (limited play-up for USCF 2100+)
    • Can use peak rating as qualification
  3. Each group will have up to 3 invited trainers that will not play each other with guaranteed prize
    • Expert group will have 3 FM/IM trainers. Gtd prize $75 if score 2.5+ points. Can earn higher prize.
    • Master group will have 3 IM/GM trainers. Gtd prize $100 if score 2.5+ points. Can earn higher prize.
    • Trainers can't offer draw before move 40
  4. Section prize
    • Expert - $200 - $150 - $100 - $50 -$25
    • Masters - $300 - $200 - $150 - $100 -$75
  5. Sibling discount and pairing:
    • Per request, we will not pair siblings
    • Siblings take 15% discount on entry fee.
  6. Forced bye get $10 back - in case someone got forced bye and can play only 3 games, $10 entry fee will be refunded. Request after event by email PNWCCTD@gmail.com
  7. Waiting list - in case play-up and/or trainer spots are full, please get into the waiting list, don't lose your chance.;)
  8. No restroom use after 90-min into the game. Before that 2 breaks allowed. Use it ONLY AFTER you make your move.
  9. ONE half-point (0.5) bye is allowed.
