| GM Moradi, Elshan [USCF 2600 | FIDE 2514] and GM Oparin, Grigoriy [USCF 2726 | FIDE 2667] will visit Seattle and give two hours of lectures in Microsoft Building 99 lecture hall on following topics - 1. 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM Dynamic Positions out of the Opening - by GM Moradiabadi 2. 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM Practical Opening Prep for Tournaments - by GM Oparin ZOOM will be provided for registered and paid players if not available to participate in person. After the lectures, we will take a 30-min break and the event will continue with a 9-round USCF rated over-the-board blitz tournament with 3+2 time control, in Microsoft Cafe 99. The two guest GM's will not play each other so to give local players more opportunities to play GM's. The prizes of the blitz tournament is gtd $200-$175-$150. Entry fee - Lecture Only - $30 Blitz Only - $30 Lecture and Blitz and Pizza - $55 IM/WIM free entry if register 1 week before event starts with $30 prize reduction. |

By registering for a PNWCC chess event, players commit to upholding the highest standards of ethics and fair play in both online and over-the-board (OTB) games. Players agree not to use cell phones, chess engines, or any form of external assistance during their games. If a player's online account is closed due to fair play violations, they must return all prize money won in PNWCC events. Violations of this agreement may result in game forfeiture, expulsion from the tournament, and sanctions imposed by PNWCC.
During online tournaments, players must adhere to PNWCC's enhanced fair play rules, including using Zoom for monitoring via webcam when required. All games will be reviewed by Chess.com or Lichess.org's Fair Play teams for potential violations, and prize-winning games will be certified by PNWCC’s Fair Play Committee. PNWCC reserves the sole right to interpret the results of online tournament games.
