Chess A2Z invites the community to a special simultaneous exhibition with Oregonβs strongest chess siblings. Zoey Tang is Oregonβs first and only Woman Grandmaster and the youngest player to win the Oregon Closed State Championship. She is currently ranked No. 1 in the world among girls in her age group and has won many national and international tournaments. Austin Tang is a National Master and among the top junior players in Oregon. He is an experienced coach known for his dynamic attacking style and deep positional understanding. Players of all levels are welcome to challenge the masters in this exciting simul event. Event Details: Reserve your seat early β simul spots typically fill quickly. Free admission. Donations are welcome to support Chess A2Z and future community events. This chess activity is part of the PDX Chinese Culture Day.
