2026 Oregon Scholastic Premier OpenDecember 4-6, 2026, presented by Chess A2Z Twelve of Oregon’s top junior players will gather December 4-6 to compete in two of the highest-level scholastic tournaments in Oregon: the Oregon Junior Closed Championship and the Oregon Junior Closed Challenger. Want to compete alongside them and have a chance to watch some of Oregon’s strongest juniors in action between your own rounds? Join us for the 2026 Oregon Scholastic Premier Open, presented by Chess A2Z, held at the same playing room. This will be a five-round tournament with a classical long time control of G/90; +30, which is the same time control used for the Oregon Junior Closed. Schedule

Entry Fee: $50 early bird if registered by November 10, 2026; $60 after November 10. Players may play up into the Premier section with an additional $10 play-up fee. Open to scholastic players (born on or after December 4, 2005) from Oregon and out of state.
